The Business Accounting: CIMA Strategic Level qualification is awarded once you have passed all of the previous CIMA examinations and have completed the necessary practical work experience. This will allow you to become a registered Associate Chartered Management Accountant or Chartered Global Management Accountant.

Examinations

There are three examinations in total for this course. Each examination lasts 90 minutes.

You will also be expected to complete a strategic level Case Study along with a total of 36 months’ worth of practical work experience (note that you can complete practical work experience during your first CIMA courses as well).

Each CIMA Case Study Examination integrates the knowledge, techniques, and skills from the specific course subjects into a single examination.

Candidates will be provided with a simulated context of a senior financial manager which will allow them to demonstrate that they have the correct mindset and skills for their role. These case studies mirror real business environments and relate to fictional organisations that are based on the real business industry.


SG Strategic Gateway

This part of the course is in connection with the STRAT CS Strategic Case Study and both course parts will be covered together.
