Can I Do Financial Management Without Matric?
No, you cannot do Financial Management without Matric. To qualify for our NATED Financial Management courses, you are required to have a Matric Certificate. We will accept a National Senior Certificate or an Amended Senior Certificate.

How Long Does It Take To Complete NATED Courses?
NATED courses are designed for your convenience. It will take you between 36 and 54 months to complete our Financial Management courses. The amount of time you need will depend on if you are studying full-time or part-time.

The Financial Management N6 National Certificate is the final theoretical course in the NATED Financial Management programme. In this course, you will be finalising your skills and knowledge that you have gained in the previous two courses. You will also be prepared to join the workplace.
Financial Management: NATED N6 National Diploma
The Financial Management N6 National Diploma is a practical training course. During this course, you will have to use the skills and knowledge that you have learned in the N4 – N6 National Certificate courses to complete a wide range of tasks in accordance to the Financial Management Logbook.

Financial Management: NATED N6 National Diploma
The Financial Management N6 National Diploma does not have any subjects that you are required to complete. It is a practical training course which will need you to complete a set of tasks set in your Financial Management Logbook.
You can expect to complete the following tasks as stated by your Financial Management Logbook:
- Input payments onto accounting system
- Retrieve bank statements
- File invoices
- Prepare cashflow statements
- Create and monitor an allocated budget

How Do NATED Courses Work?
NATED courses are designed with the aim to equip students with the knowledge and skills that will help them pursue their careers in their chosen industries. Our NATED Financial Management programme consists of two parts, being the theoretical and practical components.
You will need to complete both these parts to obtain your NATED Financial Management qualification.
Theoretical Component
The theoretical component is made up of three National Certificate courses. Each Financial Management National Certificate course will provide you with the skills and knowledge needed to pursue various careers in finance. You will have four subjects that you will need to complete for each course level.
You will have to complete two examinations and two assessments for each subject. Furthermore, you are required to achieve a minimum mark of 50% for each exam and assessment to pass the subject.
Practical Component
The practical component is where you will be getting work based training. You are required to seek employment where you can complete all your assigned tasks in accordance to your Financial Management Logbook.
The Department of Higher Education and Training has developed the iWIL service platform that assists students who are looking for employment to completed their National Diplomas. All you have to do is to register on the platform and when any jobs become available, you will be contacted.
What Is The Logbook?
The Logbook is proof that you have completed your work based training. It contains a set of tasks that you will need to complete based on the knowledge and skills you have gained in the theoretical courses. Your employer will need to oversee all activities and sign your Logbook.
Upon completion of your training, you will have to submit your Logbook to Bellview Institute of Distance Learning, and we will submit it to the DHET on your behalf. When your application has been processed and approved, you will receive your Financial Management National Diploma qualification.
