What Is A NATED Course?

A NATED course is a great way to gain a qualification. NATED courses consist of three theoretical courses and a practical course designed to provide you with the skills, knowledge, and experience you need to help you excel in your future career.

Each of the four subjects in the theoretical courses will teach you everything you need to know about that specific topic. There will be two assignments and two exams for each subject covered. Therefore, a total of eight assignments and eight exams will be completed for each theoretical course level.

There are no subjects in the N6 National Diploma courses. Instead, you will spend 18 months in this programme, completing work-based training. You will be given a logbook containing the various tasks you must finish in order to earn your qualification.

When you complete your work based training, you need to send us your completed logbook, and we will review it. Once we have reviewed your logbook, we will send it to the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET). When they are certain you have completed your tasks successfully, they will award you your National Diploma qualification.
