No, it is not possible to complete your matric in just six months. The entire programme is made of three years worth of study material, meaning Grade 10, 11, and 12. This means that it is not possible to work through all of the necessary course material in six months or less.

Your own learning pace is what determines how long it will take you to complete an Adult Matric Course. The maximum amount of months allowed for an Adult Matric Course is 36 months, but if you structure your study schedule well enough and work hard it is easy to complete these courses in less time.

It is important to keep in mind that study programmes have certain time frames set for them to allow enough time to complete all needed coursework, assignments and examinations. These timeframes are designed to make sure that you as a student never feel overwhelmed by the workload. If you want to rush through all of your work to get your certificate faster, you risk not achieving the best possible results.

Course lengths are important to follow as they are there to ease the pressure off your shoulders while studying. Doing so will allow you to focus better on getting your desired results in an appropriate time rather than wasting effort and rushing.

Yes, it is possible to register and complete your matric course online. Doing so will enable you to complete your studies and assessments online.

Your final examinations however are not available online and they will need to be completed at exam venues.

Upon successful completion of all the needed assessments for your Adult Matric Certificate, you will be able to register to write your final examinations. The registration period opens every year in October. The writing of your exams, upon successful registration, will then take place the following May and June.

The Department of Higher Education and Training oversees and manages the writing of these exams at certain identified venues located nationwide.

Our course specialists will be providing you with the best service possible to help you during every step of the registration process, which takes place every year during October and November.

Once you have successfully completed your registration for your examination through the help of Bellview’s course specialists, you will be required to write physical exams at venues chosen and specifically credited writing venues.

These venues are allocated by The Department of Higher Education and Training, and there are venues located nationwide. You will be informed, after registration, about which venue is closest to your location. That will be the venue at which you will write your final exams during May and June of the following year.

The costs for writing your Matric Certificate are different based on your educational institution. You can contact one of our course specialists to find out more.

You can rewrite your matric, regardless of how long you have been out of school. The only requirement is that you are older than 21 years when you rewrite your matric.

You will write your final matric exam at an allocated exam venue as provided by the DHET. This is the only part of your Online Matric course that will be written at a physical venue.

The accreditation of an Online Matric course depends on the institution you choose to study with. For example, if you do Online Matric via Bellview Institute of Distance Learning, you will be studying a fully accredited Online Matric Course.

You can only fail one subject in matric and pass if you get a minimum of 30% in the rest of your subjects. If you fail two or more subjects, you will have to look at alternative matric options.
