The N6 Financial Management course is the third and final course in the programme. It focuses on going into depth of everything you have learnt so far in order to help you to achieve your career goals in the finance industry.

After completing all three courses in our Financial Management course programme, combined with a total of 18 months practical experience, you will be awarded your National Diploma.

National Certificate: N5 Financial Management

Subjects 

These are the final subjects you can expect to learn in the course programme. The N6 will start off by recapturing what you have learnt in the N4 and N5 and will develop the knowledge and skills further.

  • Computerised Financial Systems N6
  • Entrepreneurship and Business Management N6

Practical Work Experience

Along with your N6 subjects, you are required to complete 6 months of practical work based experience to receive your certificate.

And you’re in luck! The DHET has a free service to help our students match up with companies who offer Work Integrated Learning (WIL) to help you gain that practical experience!

Assignments and Examinations 

During your 12 month course there will be a total of three open book assignments per subject which can be completed at home.

You will also write one final exam for each subject, which is set by the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET).

The exam can be written during one of the two periods:

  • May / June 
  • October / November
